Construction Spiral scale on paper glued to a hardboard cylinder. The scale tube slides on a wooden cylinder affixed to a wooden handle. Two long brass index pointers facilitate calculations.

Comment The Fuller Calculator is not rare, but this is a rare example of the Fuller in its first years. Serial number 633 was issued before 1885, within 5 years of when production began and at least 10 years before K&E listed the Fuller in its catalogs. I purchased this Fuller in England.
