Notes: "Micronta was one of many brands that sourced their slide rules from Relay/Ricoh. Starting in the early 1950s as the Nippon Slide Rule Company, the name was later changed to the San-Ai Keiki Company, before they were bought out by industrial giant Ricoh. Their slide rules were sold around the world under their two ‘house’ brands, Relay and Ricoh, as well under more than 20 other brand names, with Micronta just one of them. A few of the others were Lafayette, SIC, Compass, Lutz, Sans & Strieffe, Alvin, Engineers, and Jason. They even made slide rules for Dietzgen and Pickett. Like Hemmi, they may have used PVC rather than celluloid for the plastic covering on the bamboo."
