Notes: "This is a nice, simple boxwood slide rule by Lilley & Son of London. Lilley & Son were in business from 1846 to 1913, and were known mostly for selling nautical instruments (compasses, etc.). This slide rule may have been made by either Nestler or Dennert & Pape in Germany and branded and resold by Lilley. The only scales on the slide rule are A, B, C, and D. The back of the slide is blank. The all-brass “chisel” cursor is especially nice, looking machined rather than stamped. "
