Notes: "The design of this planimeter is clearly based on the Amsler Type 1 polar planimeter, but with a few differences. Instead of brass, this planimeter appears to be made of pot metal and painted black. The pole arm weight is permanently attached, and it was made in Germany, not Switzerland. It is unknown which German manufacturer made it for the Charles Bruning Co. "
